The 15th Annual Innisbrook Christmas Junior Classic Copperhead Course, Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club Sunday - Tuesday, December 20-22, 2009 Copperhead Course is Home of PGA TOUR's Transitions Championship This 54 hole Championship is a Sagarin/Golfweek Points and National Junior Golf Scoreboard Tournament. The Innisbrook Christmas Junior Classic is recognized by the American Junior Golf Association for performance based entry 36 hole cut in Boys 14-18 & Girls Divisions ELIGIBILITY The Tournament is open to boys and girls 18 years and younger as of December 22, 2009, who are enrolled in middle school or high school but not enrolled in college. DIVISIONS Boys 14 - 18 -- Sagarin/Golfweek & National Junior Golf Scoreboard rated - limited to 84 players - 54 holes, cut after 36 holes to low 51 players and ties. The Boys 14-18 Division Champion will earn one AJGA Tournament Exemption and the top three finishers will each receive one AJGA Performance Star. Boys 14-18 Division Champion - 1 AJGA Tournament Exemption. Boys 14-18 Division Top 3 - 1 AJGA Performance Star Girls 18 & Under -- Sagarin/Golfweek & National Junior Golf Scoreboard rated - limited to 36 players - 54 holes, cut after 36 holes to low 21 players and ties. The Girls Division Champion will earn one AJGA Tournament Exemption. IF GIRLS FIELD DOES NOT FILL, BOYS FIELD WILL BE EXPANDED. CUT WILL NOT BE ADJUSTED. Boys 13 & Under -- National Junior Golf Scoreboard rated - 36 holes, no cut - field limited to 12 players. Boys 13 and under will play on Sunday, December 20 and Monday, December 21. ENTRY DEADLINE - when field fills Applications will be reviewed upon receipt. Applicants will be notified within two business days of acceptance or wait list status to allow proper time to make travel arrangements. Players may be put on a waiting list until November 19 if resume is not sufficient to gain entry. On November 19 all received entries will be accepted or rejected. Applications received after November 19 will be accepted on a space available basis. ENTRY FEE $250 for boys 14-18 and girls 18 and under. $150 for boys 13 and under (36 holes). Entry fee includes: • Golf fees for Tournament rounds • Practice range balls prior to play • Lunch following each Tournament round • Awards for top three finishers in each age division GENERAL INFORMATION Tournament starting times for 1st and 2nd round will be 1st and 10th tee start with a morning and afternoon wave. Final round times will be 1st and 10th tee start from 7:30-9:30. Practice rounds are available on Saturday, December 19, beginning at 12:00 noon. Practice round rate is $60.00 per player. Course is open only for Tournament players. To make starting time, call 727-942-5220 after November 20, 2009. Caddies are permitted in Boys 13 & under only. Innisbrook will not provide caddies.
