2nd Annual Children's Dream Fund Charity Golf Classic Benefits: To benefit children with life-threatening illnesses. The Children's Dream Fund was founded in 1981 with the single purpose of fulfilling dreams of children ages 3-18 who have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. The true impact of a child's dream cannot be measured in dollars and cents. Our desire is to grant every eligible child's dream. Thee are many children in our community with life-threatening illnesses, and the Children's Dream Fund needs your help to reach them. When: Saturday, November 7, 2009, 8:00 a.m. shotgun Where: Plantation Palms Golf Club, Land O' Lakes Format: Four-Person Scramble ("Par" is your friend) Entry Fee: $95 entry fee per player includes golf, cart, tee gifts, range balls, lunch and fun. Special events include: long drive, putting and closest to pin contests, 50/50 raffle, mystery envelope auction, Masters surprise and special giveaways. Sponsorships: $500 sponsorship includes one foursome, hole sponsor sign and company promo in gift bag. $200 sponsorship includes hole sponsor sign and company promo in gift bag. Veterans Day Golf Tournament Benefitting The Dunedin Children's Christmas Fund Benefis: During the holiday season in 2008 the Dunedin Christmas Fund brightened the holiday season for 379 children. Proceeds will go to bringing a ray of sunshine to those less fortunate children in 2009. When: Saturday, November 7, 2009, 8:00 a.m. Shotgun. Where: Dunedin Country Club, Dunedin Format: 4-Person Scramble. There will be a special flight for teams from Dunedin High Schools with a traveling trophy for the winning school. Each school can enter more than one team. Entry Fee: $75 per person includes cart and greens fees, prizes, sports memorabilia auction and lunch at Norton's on Main St. Dunedin.
