The Groves Golf and Country Club has entered into a reciprocity agreement with Scotland Yards Golf Club that allows their members to enjoy member benefits and playing privileges at both clubs for the cost of one annual membership at either club. Existing and new members now effectively have memberships at two clubs for the price of one annual membership.
“This is an exciting benefit to our members,” stated Bobby Perez, new owner of Scotland Yards. ”We have joined with the Board of Directors of The Groves to increase the value of our memberships and to continue to improve the quality of benefits by becoming a member at each of our clubs.” Scotland Yards, located in Dade City, is a par-72 championship golf course with over 65 feet of elevation changes and is in excellent condition. Jan Johnson, the head professional at The Groves, said that she and the members of the golf committee have been working on this arrangement for a number of weeks and is glad to see everyone’s efforts come to fruition. “We have a wonderful facility that is in excellent condition,” said Ms. Johnson. The Groves is a par-65 golf course designed by Gary Koch, a multiple winner on the PGA Tour. It is known as the “longest short course in Florida” because of the risk versus reward design that Koch perfected. The Groves is located on US 41 in Land ‘O Lakes.
