Brooksville
Country Club Charity Invitational (formerly the Tangerine Invitational) is set for Saturday and Sunday May 17&18. This 36-hole stroke play championship is open to the first 128 paid entries received. 16-player flights will be established.
All players must have certified USGA Handicap Index. $175 entry fee
includes golf, tee gift, prizes, range balls, Saturday night dinner
banquet (may bring one guest) and Saturday shootout. All participants
are allowed one practice round ($16.00 cart fee+tax) any time following
receipt of entry fee. Tee times off #1 and #10 start at 8:30 a.m. both

On Sunday, May 18th join the fun at The
Indoor Golf Center in Hudson
for a Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament. “Shotgun start” is 1:00 p.m. All
proceeds benefit the mentoring of children through Big Brothers Big
Sisters. Pasco Poker Players will provide the tables and professional
dealers. Prizes and promotional gifts will be provided by To You Golf
Instruction (2UGI) and BB Magee’s Town Tavern. Participation is limited
to 100 players and requires advance registration of only $100 paid in
cash or credit card to The Indoor Golf Center. There will be 1st, 2nd
and 3rd place golf prizes valued at over $2,000, $1,000 and $500 from
Callaway, Mizuno, Nike and TaylorMade. The Indoor Golf Center is
located at 12410 Ramfis Road, Hudson, 1.8 miles east of US Hwy. 19 in

The Green Armada’s 1st Annual Charity Golf Classic is scheduled for
Saturday, May 31st at Bardmoor
Golf Club in Largo. The event is a
4-person scramble with 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Entry fee is $100 per
person. All participants receive a gift bag, lunch and dinner.
Sponsorships are available. Contests include hole in one, longest drive
and closest to the pin. All proceeds go to support the Green Armada.

In June 2007 the Green Armada organized the largest coastal cleanup in
the history of the southeastern United States where 600 people pulled
9,500 bags of trash from Clam Bayou in St. Petersburg. Founders were
recognized as Heroes of the Year by People Magazine, CNN and Reader’s
Digest. The Foundation continues to grow in 2008 from its humble roots,
where it was primarily financed by the Albanese family, into a global
