Pro Golf of Pasco is one of the newest Pro Golf franchises. Opening in March 2007, this new 3,000 square foot shop is located in New Tampa, the fastest-growing area in Tampa Bay. Owner Vicki Lange, an avid player, is excited about being in the golf business. “I spent 20 years in the wireless business and was looking for a change,” said Vicki. “In the golf business your customers are typically players enthusiastic about the game and looking to improve. I know we can help.”The store features a wide variety of name brand golf equipment, including Callaway, Nike, Nicklaus, Tour Edge, Adams, Mizuno and many others. Golf shoes and clothing for men and women are also featured. The ladies and juniors sections are particularly well stocked. You will also find a large assortment of golf bags and golf accessories.Vicki has hired an exceptional staff with plenty of experience in the golf business. They are dedicated to providing personalized customer care. Store manager Jim Gottas has spent over 30 years in the golf industry with stops in Cleveland, Phoenix and Las Vegas. Robert Dunlap, with 9 years experience, is a club fitter who specializes in matching shafts to customers’ swings. Rob Gravelle, an aspiring PGA Tour player, has been in the business 4 years along with avid golfers Paul Frahm and Sam Patel.
There’s a complete golf repair center on site. Andy Conte, the golf repair technician, handles everything from re-grips to loft & lie adjustments. Peggy Weber, the store merchandiser, came to Pro Golf of Pasco from TPC Tampa Bay. The store also features a launch monitor in a simulator environment. It’s an invaluable piece of equipment when it comes to club fitting. PGA Professional Rick Weber offers lessons, equipment analysis and recommendations using the launch monitor. |
