Pebble Beach Golf Links is perhaps the best golf course in the country and undoubtedly one of the best in the world. Recently I had the privilege of playing the links in the Wal-Mart First Tee Open with some of the best Champions Tour players, respected amateurs, and fi nest juniors in the country.

It’s a very select group of individuals that get to tee it up alongside the Pacific Ocean. The experiences and lessons I learned from these select individuals I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

GolfTEC, Tampa Bay’s premier indoor golf instruction company, now offers “Play with the Pro” sessions as well as outdoor short game lessons at The Eagles facility. TAMPA, FL – Westchase Golf Club recently hosted the Westchase Classic, an official FCWT Junior Golf event featuring 78 top junior golfers from across the United States and over 15 foreign countries.

Tournament winners were Oscar Sharpe, Cheltenha, England (Boys 16-18 Division, 36 hole total of 141), Blake Morris, Waterbury, CT (Boys 13-15 Division, with 142), and Giulia Molinaro, Torino, Italy (Girls 13-18 Division, with 141).

Florida Governor Charlie Crist and Andrew Agwunobi, M.D., Secretary, Florida Agency for Health Care Administration paid a visit to the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Tampa on Friday, Nov 30th. The special guests were greeted with applause and handshakes by Shriners, patients, staff and volunteers. Shriners’ patient Gabby Falcone smiled as she said, “Welcome Governor” and presented him with the new Shriners Hospitals for Children logo pin.
