Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am Moves To April Time Slot |

The Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am will teeoff on a new date in 2008. The Champions Tour event will take place the week of April 14-20, 2008 instead of its former mid-February date. The 2008 Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am will be played the week after The M sters. This will allow the tournament to take advantage of Daylight Saving Time, and provide additional daylight hours for the 76-team fi eld of Champions Tour professionals, celebrities and amateurs. At the 2007 tournament, defending champion Tom Watson ended his 0 for 43 Florida streak when he finished 4-under par 209. Bill Murray holed the final putt on 18 to win the Amateur Division by one stroke. Hopefully, both will return to defend their respective titles in 2008.
