Membership to the Golf Channel Amateur Tour is open to golfers of all skill levels. Players are divided amongst six flights based on an initial verifiable handicap such as a USGA index. If you do not have an index, the tour can help you establish valid handicap. The goal of the tour is to provide you the opportunity to compete on a golf tour just like the pros. With six different flights, it doesn’t matter if you are a scratch player of a 20 handicap, this is the place for you!All Golf Channel Amateur Tour events are generally stroke play events conforming to USGA rules. The tour schedule includes both one-day and two-day events, along with the season ending National Championship and the Sir Elford Cup (54-hole team event). The 2007 Golf Channel Amateur Tour schedule is an exciting and challenging one. Here’s the schedule for March and April: Sat. Mar. 3 Cypress Creek Sat. Mar. 17 Bloomingdale Sun.
