The Belleview Biltmore Golf Academy is proud to introduce Directors of Instruction, PGA Professionals, Pat McClanan Maser and Bill Shriver. Having received top honors as the North Florida PGA Teacher of the Year in 1999, and the North Florida West Central Chapter Teacher of the year in 1997, 1999 and 2000, Pat has been teaching golf in the Tampa Bay area since 1990 and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Belleview Biltmore. McClanan Maser has hosted “Golf Tips” on ABC CH. 28 Tampa Bay News, written for Golf For Women Magazine, Tampa Bay’s Golfer’s Guide, and has been named to the Golf Digest, Golf for Women, and Golf Magazine’s lists of Top Instructors.

As one of Florida’s best playing professionals, Bill Shriver has played in four PGA Tour Events, the Buy. Com Tour, and has been named the North Florida PGA Player of the Year in 1999. Bill has managed to do what few club professionals ever do, not only has he played golf among the best players in the world, but he has done so while maintaining a full time job teaching golf.  While directing golf schools in Florida, Bill has had the opportunity to compete against and coach professional golfers. With the extensive teaching and playing experience of Shriver and McClanan Maser, it’s a winning combination to the Belleview Biltmore Golf Academy.

Our Philosophy of Golf Teaching
Every golfer is an individual and needs to be taught a method of playing golf that will bring out their personal best. We seek to help our students reach their highest potential and be the best golfer they can be. Through years of experience with people of all ages from around the world, we aim to address as many facets of the game of golf as there are individuals playing golf.

The Golf Academy includes full-swing fundamentals with video swing analysis, short game technique instruction, including putting, chipping, pitching. bunker shots and on-course instruction. You will have the opportunity to use every club in your bag! Learn how to improve you course management strategy skills or “Think your way around the golf course” while playing with our professionals. We believe that your clubs should fi t you properly so that you are able to play your best golf, thus we offer sameday club fi tting and repair. Take advantage of our club fi tting service while you are attending the Golf Academy to ensure that your equipment is right for you. Through our intensive golf training you will become more skilled, more knowledgeable and have more fun playing golf, the formula for success which equals your best golf scores ever.
